What have been the main challenges you have faced in the project of these 4 Bachiller homes?
One of the main challenges was transforming a former office building into four high-end residences. It wasn't just a matter of redistributing the space, but of completely reinterpreting it to create homes. bright, spacious and with their own identity. Offices typically have highly compartmentalized or overly open-plan structures, facilities designed for other uses, and a very different logic than residential spaces. Here, the challenge was to equip each dwelling with spatial hierarchy, privacy and maximum comfort, guaranteeing acoustic/thermal insulation, energy efficiency and construction quality.
And what inspired you to design them, or what were your references?
We drew inspiration from a contemporary housing concept, designed for everyday well-being, striving to achieve this through spacious rooms, open yet balanced living areas, and high-quality materials that convey warmth. Furthermore, we are located in one of Valencia's finest residential areas, a well-established neighborhood with all amenities, and nestled beside one of the city's green lungs, the Viveros Gardens, as well as the Valencia Tennis Club, which offers a variety of sports, a gym, a spa, swimming pools, and several restaurants. Therefore, the homes had to be worthy of both the location and the future owner.
What will be the main benefits that the end customer will enjoy?
The main benefit is that the client acquires a home that combines the character of a comprehensive renovation of an existing building with the comfort and guarantees of new construction. We have worked with highly functional and clean layouts, maximizing usable space, with ample storage capacity—something the client greatly appreciates—and a selection of top-quality materials that not only provide aesthetic appeal but also durability and easy maintenance.
And what is your opinion of the selection of partners that JMC Homes has chosen?
Regarding partners, we understand that JMC Homes's choice is key. The company works with leading brands, and this is evident in every detail. The collaboration with Porcelanosa Grupo provides a distinct advantage: quality in wall and floor coverings, bathrooms, kitchens, and technical solutions that elevate the project's standard. When materials and execution are aligned, the result is cohesive. And the end client notices this when they enter the home, but especially when they use it.
What aspects would you highlight about how JMC selects and approaches residential projects? What has your experience been like working with them?
I would highlight, above all, their strategic vision. JMC is very demanding and selective, seeking premium locations with significant potential for appreciation and a high quality of life. In this case, Bachiller 1 is located in a quiet residential area, well-connected and surrounded by green spaces. Their approach to projects is comprehensive: from property acquisition to design, execution, and final delivery. This ensures that the entire process is controlled and that the client has a single point of contact, which provides a great deal of peace of mind and confidence.
My experience working with them has been smooth and wonderful. There's a clear commitment to quality, attention to detail, and timeless design that transcends trends. Furthermore, the customer service is highly personalized; it's not just about designing and selling a property, but about guiding the future owner/users through the entire process.
Ultimately, that's what makes this business project exceptional.
